About the collection
The gallery is dedicated to the history of Soviet and international photographic equipment. It presents photographs, specifications and descriptions from a private collection.
How exhibits are documented
Catalog records are based on examination of the objects, their markings, supplied accessories and condition. Dates and technical details are checked against manufacturer documentation, specialist reference books and collector research; uncertain attributions are revised as new evidence appears.
Photograph use
Unless a page says otherwise, exhibit photographs are original material of Retro Photo Gallery. Please contact info@retrophoto-museum.ru before reuse; include the intended publication and a link to the image. A credit and link to the exhibit page are required for approved use.
Corrections and sources
If you can clarify a model, production date or marking, write to the museum and identify the exhibit by its inventory index. Corrections are checked against the object and available sources before publication.
